Artwork by Brenau University's Lauren Hagin of Hiram, Ga., Selected for Exhibition at High Museum in Atlanta

Artwork by Brenau University senior Lauren Hagin of Hiram, Ga., qualified for inclusion in a special exhibition at the prestigious High Museum of Art in Atlanta Jan. 28 through Feb. 14.

Hagin majors in interior design at Brenau. Hagin's work selected for the exhibit includes "American Red Cross Blood Donation Center," created as a banner.

The exhibition, part of the Gainesville-based university's unique academic partnership with the High opened Jan. 28 in the museum's Greene Family Education Center. The 85 works selected includes digital prints, ceramics, oil and acrylic paintings, stoneware and mixed media. Most of the students whose works were selected primarily study art and design, interior design, mass communication, theater, and liberal arts. The competition was open to students from all disciplines.
