Artwork by Brenau University's Loren Armour of Lula, Ga., Selected for Exhibition at High Museum in Atlanta

Artwork by Brenau University Master of Fine Arts candidate Loren Armour of Lula, Ga., qualified for inclusion in a special exhibition at the prestigious High Museum of Art in Atlanta Jan. 28 through Feb. 14.

Armour majors in interior design at Brenau. Armour's work selected for the exhibit includes "Oscar de la Renta," created as a banner.

The exhibition, part of the Gainesville-based university's unique academic partnership with the High opened Jan. 28 in the museum's Greene Family Education Center. The 85 works selected includes digital prints, ceramics, oil and acrylic paintings, stoneware and mixed media. Most of the students whose works were selected primarily study art and design, interior design, mass communication, theater, and liberal arts. The competition was open to students from all disciplines.
