Artwork by Brenau University senior Samantha Threadgill of Gainesville, Ga., qualified for inclusion in a special exhibition at the prestigious High Museum of Art in Atlanta Jan. 28 through Feb. 14.

Threadgill majors in mass communications at Brenau. Threadgill's work selected for the exhibit includes "Evil Eye Package Design," a digital print on paper.

The exhibition, part of the Gainesville-based university's unique academic partnership with the High opened Jan. 28 in the museum's Greene Family Education Center. The 85 works selected includes digital prints, ceramics, oil and acrylic paintings, stoneware and mixed media. Most of the students whose works were selected primarily study art and design, interior design, mass communication, theater, and liberal arts. The competition was open to students from all disciplines.
