Brenau University's Kaitlyn Batchelor Participates in the Gainesville Theatre Alliance's Production of "Chicago"

Kaitlyn Marie Batchelor from Cleveland, Ga., contributed to the Gainesville Theatre Alliance's spring musical performance at Brenau University's Hosch Theatre from Feb. 11-22. She worked on the costume crew and played Hunyak for the GTA production "Chicago."

Batchelor is a sophomore majoring in theater at Brenau University.

"Chicago" has been honored with six Tony Awards, two Oliver Awards, a Grammy and thousands of standing ovations. The book is by Joe Masteroff, and music is by Jerry Bock.

The Gainesville Theatre Alliance is a collaborative ensemble of students, community members and professionals that recognizes learning and growth as its primary goal. The GTA nurtures the development of skills, intellect, commitment and a generous spirit.
