Brenau University's Kara Keen Participates in the Gainesville Theatre Alliance's Fall 2013-14 Season

Kara Ruthann Keen from Winterville, Ga., contributed to the 2013-14 season of the Gainesville Theatre Alliance during the fall semester. She was an electrician and an Assistant Stage Manager for the GTA production "Guys and Dolls" and she was an electrician for the WonderQuest production "Alice in Wonderland."

Keen is a sophomore majoring in theater at Brenau University.

The Gainesville Theatre Alliance is a collaborative ensemble of students, community members and professionals that recognizes learning and growth as its primary goal. The GTA nurtures the development of skills, intellect, commitment and a generous spirit.

GTA's Theater for Young Audiences, WonderQuest, stands out as the only organization in North Georgia dedicated to offering professionally produced theater specifically for children and their families.

Each production is performed in the historic Brenau University opera house, Pearce Auditorium, for family audiences and over 7,000 students from schools throughout northeast Georgia.
