Chantal Russell Performs in "Honors Il Portale Musicale" at Brenau University during the Fall 2013 Semester

On Oct. 14, 2013, Chantal Brooke Russell performed as part of the juried group of music majors in the fall semester's Honors Il Portale Musicale, presented by the Brenau University Music Department. The performance featured music that spans genres through various periods from the Baroque to the Romantic. She performed "Le Nozze di Figaro" from Voi che sapete by W.A. Mozart for Il Portale Musicale. She sings mezzo-soprano.

Russell is a junior majoring in music at Brenau University. She is the daughter of Heman and Vivian Russell of Union City, Ga. She is a graduate of Creekside High School in Fairburn, Ga. She is a Resident Assistant and a member of Mu Phi Epsilon music fraternity and Alpha Lambda Delta national honor society.
