Elizabeth G. Lincoln from Savannah, Ga., traveled to England for Summer Abroad Program

Brenau University student Elizabeth Lincoln of Savannah, Ga., studied at one of the most distinguished universities in the world with a select group of students from the Women's College. The group was led across the pond by English professor Kathryn Locey and Women's College Dean Debra Dobkins. The interdisciplinary summer school experience at the University of Cambridge included four weeks of courses taught by Cambridge lecturers and instructors in English, history, art history, politics, theater, legal studies and architecture. Lincoln also has an opportunity to tour and enjoy cultural events and experiences while residing on campus at the historic college through early August.

Lincoln is a junior majoring in psychology. Elizabeth, or Ellie, is the daughter of Bill and Marie Lincoln and is originally from Tucson, Ariz. She is a graduate of R. W. Groves High School. Ellie is a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority for which she serves as Philanthropy Chair and Assistant Risk Management, a Senator and Student Services Commission Chair for the Student Government Association, a Student Ambassador, Assistant Editor for the Elixir, Treasurer/Secretary for Gamma Sigma Alpha honor society, and Order of Omega.
