Jackie C. Mileson from Lawrenceville, Ga., Participates in 'A Raisin in the Sun' Theater Production with Brenau University

Jackie C. Mileson from Lawrenceville, Ga., participated in the Brenau University and Gainesville Theatre Alliance production of "A Raisin in the Sun". Mileson is a sophomore at Brenau University majoring in theater. She worked with the electrics crew. She is the daughter of John and Patsy Mileson of Lawrenceville, Ga. She is a graduate of Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Ga. Mileson is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta national honor society.

The classic 1959 stage drama, written by Lorraine Hansberry, ran Feb. 15-23 at the Ed Cabell Theatre on the University of North Georgia's Gainesville campus. It is based upon a family's experiences in the Washington Park Subdivision of Chicago's Woodlawn neighborhood.
