Kathleen Rossi of Clearwater, Fla., is on Roster of Nationally Ranked Brenau University Golden Tigers Swim Team

Brenau University's Kathleen Rossi of Clearwater, Fla., is on the Brenau University Golden Tigers Swim Team, ranked No. 4 in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Women's Swimming and Diving Coaches' Poll. The Golden Tigers finished second at the Appalachian Swimming Conference Championship, recording a total of six conference records, 14 first place finishes and two individual records.

Rossi is a sophomore majoring in Fashion Design at Brenau.

High national rankings in the past few seasons have become commonplace for three-time ASC Swim Coach of the Year Award winner Blaire Bachman's squad. During the Appalachian Swimming Championships on Saturday, Feb. 15, Brenau recorded a new conference and team record in the 200 Medley in a time of 1:47.41. Brenau then continued their domination of the relay events, taking first place in the 800 Freestyle in 7:54.19. The team completed their strong run of the ASC Champs, winning the 400 Free Relay in a time of 4:35.40.
