Yuxi Liu Performs in "Honors Il Portale Musicale" at Brenau University during the Fall 2013 Semester

On Oct. 14, 2013, Yuxi Liu performed as part of the juried group of music majors in the fall semester's Honors Il Portale Musicale, presented by the Brenau University Music Department. The performance featured music that spans genres through various periods from the Baroque to the Romantic. She performed "Consolation No. 3 in D-Flat Major" by Franz Liszt for Il Portale Musicale. She plays the piano.

Liu is a senior majoring in piano performance at Brenau University. She is the daughter of Ms. Li and Mr. Liu of Zhengzhou, Henan, China. She graduated from Zhengzhou University, China in 2010 and got her bachelor degree in Chinese Literature. She is a member of Mu Phi Epsilon professional music fraternity and Alpha Lambda Delta national honor society.
